Astaxanthin is an antioxidant from the algae Haematococcus Pluvialis. Antioxidants protect the body from free radicals, which can be harmful. Free radicals are naturally formed in the body, but their presence can be higher due to negative lifestyle factors such as pollution, UV rays from the sun, stress, and smoking. Noromega Astaxanthin is enriched with vitamin C and vitamin E. Vitamin C helps maintain the normal function of the immune system, and vitamin E protects cells from oxidative stress.
